That is incredible! Nice work!
That rules! (hah- rules- I did that pun thing, didn't I?) Was it cathartic to do that to the cataloging book? How'd you rig it up?
hee! I actually printed the cover image (and spine and page edge image) on glossy photo paper and glued it to a cardboard contraption, which I attached to a hairband. Then a zillion bobby pins and the glue-like nature of the fake blood kept it very firmly in place all afternoon. :)
ok- good to know! I totally want to do this now :) Brilliant.
OMG. That is awesome!!!! Best use of AACR2 *ever*.
hee! everyone got that i was a zombie librarian, which was cool, but i actually had one girl come up and take my picture saying "i always said the aacr2 would be the death of me, but i never meant it literally!" heehee!
I think every cataloger, everywhere, has said the same thing about AACR2! :-P Thank you so much for sharing this ... I now have the best.costume.design.ever for the next party I have to attend. ;-p
my pleasure! have fun! :D (Deleted comment)
Now we all need to find some zombie Internets to give you.
I've heard the AACR can do that to people :P (Great costume!)
I know that learning AACR2 feels like a lot to cram into your brain at once, but I can assure you, THIS APPROACH DOES NOT WORK!
;-P
So, last year I ended up not doing zombie librarian, but I am tonight! Thanks for the inspiration. I just finished making my fake blood (chocolate, peanut butter and corn syrup as the interesting ingredients) I'm going to smell like the candy people are handing out, I think. | |
